How to view property.
We’re here to help fellow West Australians continue with wherever they may be on their property journey.
Although we are entering unchartered territory and anticipate some challenging and or different times ahead, we know that West Australians still require guidance and support whilst on their property journey. And that you may need a trusted property advisor to be by our side more than ever.
I have spoken to many buyers over the past few days and something kept coming up – they didn’t think they could still view property. This idea stemmed from the government implementing a shut down of home opens at the end of March. This definitely is the case, however private viewings are still very much allowed and encouraged. A private viewing is arranged between you and myself at a time that is suitable. No more than one person is allowed through the property at any given time.
For everyone’s safety, you will be required to complete a quick questionnaire before organising a private viewing. The questions will look like this –
In the past 14 days have you:
1. Are you feeling unwell or have you or a close friend or family member (within the same home) travelled international in the last 14 days? YES / NO
2. Had contact with a confirmed case or suspected case of Coronavirus (COVID-19) YES / NO
3. Recently developed and are still experiencing, one or more of the following symptoms; – Fever/high temperature YES / NO – Cough YES / NO – Shortness of breath YES / NO – Muscle pain or fatigue YES / NO – Sputum or mucous YES / NO – Diarrhoea YES / NO – Other flu-like symptoms YES / NO
If you answered YES to ONE or more of these questions, please DO
NOT enter the home open. We invite you to speak to or contact your Realmark
representative to discuss alternative options or arrangements.
What does this mean if you want to bring a friend or relative with you for a second opinion? No problem at all. They will just need to wait outside of the property while you have a look around, and then they will be able to walk through.
What precautions are we taking to ensure everyone is safe? We will always keep our distance from you and would encourage you to do the same with whoever you are with. When entering a property, turning on lights etc we will be using gloves ensuring no contact has been made. We would ask you then to please refrain from touching anything in or outside the property. The house will have been wiped down with disinfectant prior to the viewing, however we would like to take extra precaution.
We will be providing no paper details, these will be emailed to you including floorplans, strata information etc so please provide your email address.
How do you arrange a viewing? You can call me, text me, email me – whatever works for you I will be available to organise the viewing at a time that is convenient for you and be on hand to let you in and answer any questions you may have.
Like the look of a property but don’t want to leave the house? No problem, we want you to be as comfortable as possible. There are lots of virtual options available to you here, the most thorough would be to video chat with me – I will walk around the property for you, show you every corner and answer questions as we go.
If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me on 0423 490 856.
