Success on Bawdan Street, Willagee.
A spacious front yard welcomes you through to the front section of this home. Originally built in the 1960’s, you can feel the old cottage warmth with the original timber flooring.
Through the hallway you are immersed in light, a vast and modern space. The extension has just been finished and features beautiful speckled concrete floorings and extremely high ceilings. The kitchen is open plan and European in style complete with stainless steel appliances, lots of storage and separate pantry.
The living space has plenty of room and feels modern yet comfortable, a soothing place to unwind. French sliding doors flood the room with natural light something the owner has loved living in this house. The feeling of a European holiday home – you would never think you were in Perth!
Step outside to the decked terrace, an expansive space that wraps around the pool. This area is fenced off making a safe space for the kids to play all year round.
This house had been designed with the whole family in mind and is the perfect mix of old and new. With the children’s bedrooms and rumpus at the front and more modern grown up spaces at the rear; this would function very well as a family home. As we step out to the street, you see families and dogs walking along and know that you would be part of a wonderful neighbourhood.
The first opening of this home saw almost 30 groups through. As we were only allowed 10 people inside at a time, this meant that we had queues down the street! Everyone was so cheerful and happy to wait to walk through this beautiful home. Feedback was instantly positive with many asking to view again next week. We were starting a Set Date Sale which means heavy marketing on all platforms for 21 days before presenting all offers to the owner. This generally allows to reach 40-50,000 potential buyers online through the duration of the campaign and helps drive competition.
The next day however, we received a call from a young couple that wanted to make a Buy Now offer on the property as they fell in love and didn’t want to wait having just missed out on another property. We spent a day or two in negotiations with the owner to reach a price both parties were happy with and had the property from listed to under offer in just 7 days.
This was a great success but left many buyers disappointed having missed out and so we are looking for similar properties in the area. If you have a family home in Willagee or surrounding suburbs please get in touch!
