Mature greenery and the meticulously manicured gardens kept by proud residents make Floreat look like it’s been plucked straight from a picture book. With all that’s happening, going for a walk with the family through these picture-perfect streets is the best way to escape and get a little bit of exercise in too – how lucky are we?

Assuring us that social distancing doesn’t apply to dogs; we love visiting our friends at The Floreat Vet, who are so passionate about giving back to the Floreat community. They’re still open to care for your fur-family and have even changed their check-in process to protect you and your loved ones.

The Cambridge Corner Store is a family run business where Dave and Simone certainly do their bit for looking after our community too. They’ve been cooking their delicious home-made meals for people who are in need. Whether you’re chasing a morning coffee, or your family is craving one of their pre-made meals, pop in and visit their happy faces or text in your order. They’re also offering home delivery for free!

Looking for an afternoon pick me up? The team at La Petite the French Patisserie always greet you with a smile and their pastries and macaroons? to die for! So, if you can, treat yourself and step away from the home office this afternoon, we all deserve to indulge once in a while.

Emslie Pharmacy has always been super friendly and helpful when we’ve been feeling under the weather. If you have any questions or queries, pop down or give them a call, the team are here to help you and your family whenever you’re in need.

Although Wembley Golf Course is closed at the moment, we can’t wait to get back down to the lush greens and hit some balls. This had been our favourite pastime as of late, and you might even notice some familiar faces around the place…

Have you stopped by The Wembley recently? It always had such a great atmosphere and friendly staff. Their menu is still available for takeaway and so is their bottle shop. So, if you’re craving a pub meal this Friday, order your parmy in and crack a beer out the back!

Our little community is adapting and there are many local businesses here for you and your family through this time. Let’s work together to support our community in getting through this.

We’re here to talk if you need.
